Zero Crossing, also known as burst mode firing are used with resistive elements such as Ni-chrome and other wire heater elements , but can not be used with inductive loads like a transformer or with fast changing elements like lamps and molybdenum, silicon or graphite elements. Zero Crossing has no harmonics or RF noise, but is low resolution and limited in its applications.
Use any controller like Watlow and Omega to control your SCR
Our SCR is a direct replacement for any other make SCR, like Omega, Watlow, Johnson and Chromolox
This unit is for three phase applications where only two of the hot legs need to be controlled.
